We invite you to take part in the FIWARE iHub Workshop, which will take place on April 14 in the Press Room at Parc BIT. This event is an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge of FIWARE technology, a key tool for digital transformation and the development of IoT and Smart Cities applications in strategic sectors of the Balearic Islands, such as tourism and agrifood.

Objectives of the Workshop

• Bring FIWARE technology closer to the socio-economic sectors of the Balearic Islands.
• Present the FIWARE iHub and its role in driving digital transformation in our region.
• Showcase examples of applied projects.

Event Program:
10:00 - Institutional Welcome by Loren Carrasco, Vice-Rector for Innovation and Digital Transformation.
10:15 – Keynote on FIWARE applications by Juan Ortells (AnySolutions).
11:00 – Networking coffee break.
11:45 – Round table on business uses of sensorization.
12:30 – Presentation of applied projects by IOTIB Laboratory.
13:30 – Closing.

Target Audience: graduates, professionals, and students interested in IoT technology and the application of digital tools that foster innovation in the productive sectors of the Balearic Islands.

Free Admission and Certificate: attendance is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
