Grants of up to 10,000 euros for European SMEs in energy efficiency

The EENergy Open Call Project offers financial support and advice to European SMEs to improve energy efficiency, with a deadline of May 15, 2024. The goal is to reduce energy costs and promote a more sustainable economy.
The program will assist at least 1,800 SMEs, with a total grant of 9 million euros. The funded actions include the following:
- Investment: This category encompasses the implementation, acquisition, purchase, and/or installation of new software, machinery, equipment, or other technologies related to energy efficiency. Some examples include the purchase and installation of renewable energy systems such as solar panels, wind turbines, inverters, storage systems, the implementation of optimization/energy management software in a production line, the replacement of an old boiler with a newer, more efficient one, the replacement of obsolete power units with newer and more effective ones.
- Consulting: This category includes consultancy services and advice related to the identification and implementation of improvements in energy efficiency, as well as energy audits.
- Training and Capacity Building: This category covers training and capacity building activities for staff in energy efficiency to improve the company's energy practices and outcomes.
To participate in the open call and be eligible for a grant, SMEs must work with specialized sustainability advisors from the European Enterprise Network "Enterprise Europe Network," who will support SMEs interested in designing a personalized energy efficiency action plan and submitting the proposal to EENergy.
All eligible applicants participating in the call, whether they receive the grant or not, will continue to benefit from the consulting and assistance services of the sustainability advisors of the Enterprise Europe Network during the implementation of their action plan, and will also receive anonymized reports comparing their energy efficiency performance with that of other applicants (with reference to size, sector, and location).
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) consortium can help you submit your application to the EENergy open call.
