On July 27, 2025, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, reached an agreement on tariffs and trade.

This initiative focuses on three priority areas: health, energy, and reconstruction, and is part of the EU's broader effort to harness AI for the public good and deliver tangible public value, both in Europe and globally.
