This grant aims to support local businesses on their path towards internationalization, whether by expanding their presence abroad, participating in export activities, or collaborating with other companies in the search for global opportunities and a more solid and resilient economic future. In this context, it is planned to develop support programs for companies to use foreign market entry as a driving force towards new markets, so that they act as growth and productivity catalysts through international expansion.

In this way, grants will be awarded to promote the initial stages of the export process to micro-enterprises and SMEs, as well as their subsequent consolidation or expansion abroad, including the joint internationalization of companies. Additionally, business collaboration and the modernization of trade and services will be promoted by financing business internationalization projects. At the same time, the international presence of products manufactured in the Balearic Islands will be encouraged and the creation and consolidation of a diversified industrial and business network with a presence in foreign markets will be supported, especially during periods of economic recession, which constitutes a fundamental pillar for the sustainability of the business model.

It is worth highlighting the boost to the strategic line related to financing, to provide financial support to companies throughout the export processes in their different phases, thanks, among other things, to the granting of aid.

The total budget of the call will be distributed as follows: in 2024, 1,100,000 euros will be granted from the autonomous community's own funds; likewise, in 2025 and 2026, the allocation will be 550,000 euros, respectively, from FEDER earmarked funds.
