It offers advice and support for projects such as Kino_GreenToken by Teresa Benítez, which offers a technological solution to make the audiovisual sector more circular.

An example of this course of advice and support provided by the Bit Foundation with the help of the services of the EEN network is Kino'GreenToken, a project by Teresa Benítez that offers technological solutions to improve the circularity of audio-vidual projects. The EEN Baleaars consortium consists of the Balearic Foundation of Innovation and Technology ( Bit Foundation), the University-Business Foundation of the Balearic Islands MP (FUEIB) and the Mallorca Chamber of Commerce. Kino'GreenToken uses blockchain technology to monitor the energy bill for film productions and proposes a locally compensated emission reduction plan.

"In Kino.GreenToken we use a blockchain neural network called NDL that does not generate energy impact and we offer the real-time energy bill for audiovisual productions. Not only do we measure, but we do three functions: we have the traceability of emissions, so we can propose a plan to reduce the carbon footprint of the project; we promote circularity, as the traceability of all processes allows us to extend the lifespan of materials; and we provide a model of compensation for each token issued. Now the audiovisual productions offset their footprint in the Amazons, but if we have many shots in the Pareis stream we must compensate for the broadcasts in Mallorca. That is why we are now working to create absorption farms with specific targets relating to reforestation or blue carbon. We are holding conferences and events in order to seek allies, projects which will make it possible to compensate. We must bear in mind that today, in order to access funding from the Institute for Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA), a plan for reducing the carbon footprint and a memory of sustainability is needed', recalls Benítez.

The support this entrepreneur has received from the EEN Network has been constant and specialised. tecnològicI have been informed of events, competitions, funding possibilities, they also organise seminars in the field of technology... They gave me the information about the Startup Challenge of the San Sebastián Film Festival, which I won. Without the advisers of the Bit Foundation I would not have heard of the call," Teresa Benítez finally explains.
